My 2001 xj has the black rubber trim on the ends of the front bumper.(i hope that made some kind of since?) Im curious to know can i take those off without making my xj look like ****? And is the metal bumper go from end to end on the front. Is it painted also? The reason i wanna do this is to have a little more front tire clearence.

I dont like the looks of it....but its your jeep...you'll have to look at a hollow bumper.

 

Do you have any suggestions or a good place where i can buy a good bumper. Im really wantin a brush guard but quadratec is so confusing with there brush guards. You have to but a $300 bumper and then a $400 brush/grilll guard!

or thiers a guy on here thats selling an awsome bumper for 200 bucks. he makes them. they don't have a brush guard but its only 200 bucks.

 

I know FrankZ makes some tough tube bumpers he's on here. Logansmetals or Morris 4x4 Center.

 

you can get a nice one made for a decent price and then get a stinger welded on it..
