Default Bumper Install

I am just about to order a stage 3 bumper from JCR Offroad
http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/...egory_Code=XJB

This may be a stupid question, but is there any reason that installing a new front bumper would significantly change the way the airbag would deploy in a head-on collision? I wasn't sure if it was an impact sensor or a G sensor.

you can relocate your vacuum ball to the right of your coolent bottle, thats where many people put it. and if i recall the air bag sensor is located under the seat or in the dash or something to that effect but your airbags wont be effected.

Getting nit-picky here... but technically aftermarket bumpers like this increase the likely hood of the airbag going off in an accident because they transfer more of the impact force to the vehicle vs crumpling up and absorbing some of the impact like the factory bumpers. Realistically, the increase isn't enough to even worry about though.

So just to make sure, when I go to put a new big steel bumper on my 98 xj, theres not going to be any sensors or anything behind the bumper? and the same for the rear?
