Took the end caps of my 89 Cherokee. Actually I had to cut them off. Now there's a plastic bottle looking thinking with lines going to it, I'm assuming it's for vacuum or evap? What can I do with this? Can I relocate or should I cap the bumper again? Thanks guys -Paul

 

Relocate it to the engine bay

 

x2 I just cut the hose and kind of tossed it in there on top of the dizzy. I've had it like that for years without any issue.

 

What is it for?

 

It's the vacuum reservoir for actuating vent doors, cruise control, and 4x4 on renix XJs with the 231 transfer case.
