Its pretty cheap. I used a fork lift to figure out how far to let the suspension compress.
You are kinda screwing your self on travel

No he is limiting his down travel. keep bump stops in stock location to get it to stop before the fender. if you still have some uncompressed shock you can make a set of these

http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoShockSpacers.htm

and you gain that much down travel. you are wasting alot of your shock travel by having that much of a bump stop built into the shock. I am a big fan of having some form of bump stop on the shock to make sure you never zero it out though

you still have full down travel. as long as your shocks are the correct length they dont act as limiting straps. the shock still gets full extension. may not get full compression but that acts as a bump stop. bump stopping a shock that much is not a good idea though because you can definitely bend the shaft

90% of people have generic off the shelf lift shocks. And most people dont do there suspention, figure out there bump stops, measure what there compressed length should be, and then order shocks. I was just tring to let this guy know how to maximize the shock he has. which he is not. i doubt you are either but you are not getting what i am saying or dont care. done

I have these shock extension brackets I made on there right now. They end up being about 2 1/4" longer to make up for the flex lost by the bump stops. I just have cheap RC shocks now. I will make this work until I can afford longer ones. These are the longest RC sells and they are stopping my droop.

I didn't mean to change the direction of this thread. Just wanted to see what he thought of something in that direction.

Thanks. That's funny. These are the same shocks that the guys from Iron Rock Off Road suggested. They all run them and get awesome flex from their cherokees and grands.

I love them and i tend to do a ton of research before i actually drop money on anything. anything that can be made i make. I cant make shocks, tires, or coil springs so i have to buy them. you can check out my build page if you wanna get a guage on what i mean
