Default build tag and electrical connector behind bumper??

What does the plate/tag on the radiator support tell you? Also to the right of it almost in center what is the white plug? What tells the air bags to go off?

Hmm were they in a overhead console or what in 01? So they all have the wiring already I just need to find the gauge and its a simple add on?

You'll either have to get an overhead console or a rearview mirror with temp display and an ambient air temp sensor. There are write ups for both on the forum. The sensor can be found at the jy or you can get from a dealer for around $35 I think.

Cool thanks I'll figure it out. It had crossed my mind in past but now I'll keep a eye out at the yard knowing the wiring is already there.

If you go with the ohc, make sure you get the complete wiring harness that goes from the ohc down the passenger side A pillar to the fuse box area and the hanger bracket that's attached to the ceiling.

Also, the '00-01 were wired a little different, you'll have to move wires around the harness to get it to work if the ohc is from 97+ plus the ohc from the gc will not work...which sucks because I see more of those in the jy than I've seen 97+ xjs.
