Is there a place to find what all the letters and numbers stand for on my build sheet that i found under my driver side door panel. I was looking at it and trying to make something out of all the letters and numbers but i cant. nor can i find a website that lists what they stand for

or take your ownership to the dealer. He'll punch in the numbers and give you a sheet with the codes and the options. they even did my 91 limited

Okay, just so you know I'm bringing up this old thread in hopes that some new information might be added.
I'm still wondering if anyone has been able to 'unlock' the build sheet codes for the Cherokee?
I picked mine up at the dealership today in an effort to be certain which spring package came with my Jeep. I have a '97 Country edition that seems pretty loaded (NP242, Tow package, skid plates, leather interior, etc...). The build sheet gives me a 'SDA' Normal Duty Suspension code, but also includes 'ZFJ','ZFU','ZUJ','ZUU', for front/rear/left/right springs. It doens't look like an Upcountry Suspension, but the vehicle does have over 200K on the body.
Does the Upcountry Suspension actually have different springs or do they use a longer shackle and coil spring spacers?

Not sure if this will help you, but I have this link from a previous thread. Apparently you send your VIN to Jeep and they will send you your entire build sheet. I haven't done it yet, so let me know if it works.

i actually did this just recently on my jeep. i have the build sheet with all the letter codes. sadly, i dont know where i found the answers. it was probably just a google search sort of thing. its actually called a broadcast sheet and somehow i found a place that had at least most of the translations. there are still a few things that were not answered like my alloy wheels, i found that somewhere else.

That last link was useful. Funny thing is, as I went to save it to my hard drive, I found I already had a copy and didn't even know it.
Also, I am certain now that I don't have an Up-Country suspension (codes: ZVV, ZGV, ZVW, ZGW) but it does look like I'm suppose to have the heaviest spring rate of all the non-off road versions-- 2961#
It also doesn't seperate out the Off road springs for the front. Oh well.
Thanks for the link though!
