everything is pretty accurate but I have no tint on my jeep and all the windows have chrysler logos on them so they don't appear to have been replaced. Second it says 225/75R15 for the tires, but the sticker inside the door say 215/75R15. Also I have done searches using the VIN on the internet and on several it comes back as "police Prep". Any ideas about any of this stuff?

On a disconcerting note there were 31 things found on Carfax, but I am too cheap to pay to find out what they are... I figure it runs pretty well and I was able to figure out on my own it was rear-ended at one point(rear bumper misaligned and a JY rear hatch) Otherwise she seems ok.

 

Chrysler says mine was a right hand drive exported to Sweden.

 

When the factory says tinted windows, they aren't talking about really dark windows, just a slight UV blocking tint built into the glass, not a film. Privacy glass is the factory term for dark windows.

 

ok, that makes sense. What about the tires?

 

They might have been replaced with a larger size at some point. My ZJ has three different sizes that it could have come on it, but I have 30-9.50-15s on it. Those tire stickers on the door jamb are not always accurate.

 

Don't you love chrysler? They still tell me that mine isn't a goverment package XJ and yet every time they run the vin it comes up as gov pack XJ. I have had four different dealers run the vin and all came up with the same lists for mine.
