The chevy ones are the ones I'm talking about. They are bolt on. The bushings stick out like .5 of an inch on both side. They have to be trimmed down a bit, nothing else, its just rubber (she didn't say that). I use them with great results. They flex alright too.

Did my s-10 bastard pack Today. Used the xj main all 3 s10 leafs minus the overload lifted 4-4.5 just like it was suppose to.

I recomend that setup to anyone without reservations to do an inexpensive 4 to 4.5 lift.

So glad you posted this. I bought my s10 leafs and that helper looks pretty stout so i was wondering what kind of lift you get if you put all three without the helper. and i need 4.5 inches to match my front.

No problem. U will need to drill the xj main leaf for the center pin. The s10 is a little bit larger. Other than that its Pretty straight forward.

What coils did you do on the front? Or did you just use spacers?

Sorenabel---what kind of welder do you have? You can pick up a used buzz box welder for less than $150 usually. I got a Lincoln AC welder for $125.

So a Dakota bastard pack, f-150 coils, s-10 rear shocks, and ??? front shocks would bet about 4 in of lift?
