Budget Boost question
i have a 3" RC AAL kit and i want to add about .75" in the front and some s10 leaves in the rear...
keep in mind the rear has sagged a little...
i want to use the two helper leaves off of the s10 pack...the ones under and over the main leaf...would this give me about 4" total in the rear???
and also would i have to upgrade my shocks...they are 3" RC shocks and i was hoping to put .75" spacers up front and like i said the two s10 leaves out back...
thanks in advance...

The 3" RC shocks should be ok, but maybe on the short side. Once you add the leaves and front spacer, disconnect the shocks and droop the axle as far as it will go and you'll know if the shocks are long enough (if they can still reach the axle mount) As for the s-10 leaves, it's trial and error most of the time. You gotta add and subtract till you get the height you want. We can't tell you which leaves will work because we don't know the condition of the s-10 leaves or the ones one your jeep.
If you need like 1" of extra length on your shocks, consider some bar pin eliminators from Full Traction or Zone:

They add some length.

thanks to both of you...
im sure i could make a "shock spacer" so to speak...but those detours are sweet...
but hopefully the two leaves will be ok to level it out with 4" because tearing the leaves apart then having to do it again would be a PITA...

I'd stack another coil spring isolator up front and get yourself some shock extension or bar pin eliminators(heard they add alittle to your travel).... As for the s10 leafs, I have a feeling you may get more than you're looking for out of them.

Not really, you can get by without em. It would be a wise upgrade though (adjustables) so you can dial in your caster and pinion angle. RC has some new flex arms for a good price if you ever decide to get some.
