so today on my way to work it started to pour and about ten minutes into my drive, the wipers just dropped and would not work. i can hear the motor trying to push the wipers but it seems like something undreneath broke. how much of a task is getting everything apart to see whats wrong? I am at work now so I hadnt gotten the chance to look at it just yet

 

not hard, first remove the wiper arms, then there's like 8 little philips screws holding the plastic cowl piece on. remove that and the motor is right under there.
i've had a problem with mine before, the linkage would just pop off, so i wired it back together. i have a replacement, but will get to it one day...

 

thanks. i just took the cowl piece off only to find the tab that holds the motor to the body twisted and snapped off.
