Broken windshield wiper??
I have a 98 2 door jeep Cherokee. I was out driving one day in the rain with my windshield wipers on, my wiper on the driver side of the vehicle when coming UP flew all the way off of my windshield completely backwards. I stopped and put it back in place but it has never worked since. The passenger side still works. Any idea what the problem might be or how I can get it fixed?

I don't know about the XJ(I haven't had to fix it yet) but on my '76 Dodge Power Wagon, there are plastic bushings that connect the wiper arms to the motor under the cowl. You need to pull off the cover and check and see what's going on under there.
