That is.
Oconee Offroad is a nice place.
You can find the little weird stuff there sometimes.
I dealt with them a couple times. Came up in Google searches when looking up Mopar part numbers.
Here is the problem with their site. No pictures. At least for what I bought.
So I could not be 100% sure it was what I was looking for.
Turned out fine both times though.
I ordered that eyelet that is part of the rear tow hook setup, the little plastic "C" that clips your overflow hose
to your upper radiator hose, the label for a Command Trac Transfer Case, and the molding between the hood
cowl. A couple of those items were Rugged Ridge just like those seats.

My molding between hood and cowl was looking a little dried out. Sprayed it down with Liquid Wrench Silicon Spray (plastic safe) and it came back. Same on my heater hoses.
My Pull-A-Part has 6 XJs and bucket seats there are around $30, no telling if they are any good. Years are: 1989, 1993, 2000, 2001 (three of the 2001s there).
Guess I need to measure and take pix of what I have to see if anything they have will work.
This supplier is not confidence inspiring. They seem to be the last people to know why there is a market for replacement XJ seats to begin with. I wrote and asked if their seats were strengthened where the Cherokee seats usually break.
Hello Stephen,
We are not familiar with the OEM seats breaking so we cannot say whether ours is strengthened in that area.
Thanks,

Can anybody point out on these diagrams where the breaking is happening? BTW, took a look where the front of my 1996 XJ 2 door seat assemblies meet the floor and it does not appear to match anyway. They are broken someplace at the rear. This is from the 1994-1996 parts manual.
Pretty sure your '96 seats are different.
I think when they break on guys it is the bottom framework.
Not the seat base but what bolts to that. What the cushion and seat cover are attached to.

If MOPAR published a different parts manual, I really wish they would declassify it. This manual has stuff labeled 1996, like the upholstery, but for this, nothing but 1994.

I noticed that in mine too.
But pretty sure '96 seats, the framework of the seats, and the manual or power seat bases are the same (similar) from then to '01.
Piece on the left is what I think guys are talking about. That is what the seat cushion goes on and bolts the to base on the right.
Pretty sure these are out of a '99 that I have in my '00.

Will post a picture soon. Just looking at the front of mine where it meets the floor looks different than everything there. Maybe I have too much crud and fuzz on the floor, but I can't even find any bolt heads attaching it to the floor.
