Broke valve cover bolt :(
Well I broke it.... too scared to take it out myself so I'm gonna head to my mechanic next week to see if he can. Just curious on what specs these bolts are so I can grab a new one.

Not sure on the specs but if you take the valve cover off, that really shouldn't be too hard to get out yourself. There are a lot of broken bolt removers on the market.

Torque spec is 84 in-lb (NOTE: This is inch-pounds, NOT foot-pounds).
I'm not sure how you tightened it so much to break the bolt. There should be rubber inserts and steel washers that serve as stops on tightening. You only need the bolts to be tight enough to seal the rubber gasket. It doesn't take a lot.

I was tighting it with a socket wrench didn't think I'd be able to snap it by hand. Also used a felpro grommetless gasket (they are built into the gasket)
