I replaced my 91 D35 3:55's with a new set of 3:73's. I raced last night a my first lap into a strong right hand turn I broke my rear axle shaft. I seriously twisted it into at the gears. Any upgrades on the D35 for this? O don't really wish to do the Chrysler 8.25 switch yet. Maybe a winter project but not now.
Any suggestions?

Building a D35 is like polishing a turd, it will look a little better, but it will never shine. Do a swap and save money.
