Default Broke down today

To make a long story short today my 96' broke down and i have no idea whats wrong with it. I was driving and my dash went out and completely died untill i started applying the brake and when i took my foot off the break it stopped working again and shortly after that the engine started sputtering and i slowly lost power and it eventually died. I replaced the battery two days ago and they checked my altanator and said it was fine. So any help would be appreciated just to at least get me started in the right direction. THANKS!!!

Sounds like your CPS went out. Mine did the same thing, thought it was fuel related, but it wasn't.
