u can just buy one of the really small air filters that are beside the spectre filters at autozone and clamp it on

are you talkin about the hose that goes into the stock air box,then when you put a aftermarket air filter on theres no where to put that hose at? then yes just get a real small reusable filter and clamp it on,but you dont have to use the hose
