Breaks lock up when cold

Thanks for the help guys. Ill have the Jeep in the shop in the next couple weeks as I dont have the time or tools at home to do the work on my own.

I usually say try it yourself first that's how you learn, but with brakes i dont mess around, these xj's barely stop when the brakes are mint, your better off with the shop. Good luck.

I discovered today that it is indeed the rear breaks. Since I havent messed with drum breaks in about 10 years I dont think I'll be tackling this on my own. Good thing I've got a good friend that owns a shop that will give me a good deal on the labor.

Ok so I got the xj back today. Turns out there were some broken springs in. the assembly and the drums were warped. The breaks held up good on the road test after the repairs were done. Lets hope it stats that way. Thanks again for the input guys!!!
Thank you CF! Thought my rear axle was falling off this morning after sitting 2 days in rain...good to know it's "normal"...brakes just moved up the priority list.
