Default Breaks.

Ok so the breaks work fine, and there is plenty of life left on the pad (I checked, Jiffy lube checked, the Jeep dealer checked) but Yet my breaks sequel when Aplyed. Its not a safety issue but it sure is annoying so any advice would be helpful. O and I already turned the radio up it worksish.

Thanks
FSJunky

Pads may be okay but the rotors may on there way out.

I just tackled this problem on my F150.

Rotorpros.org

or there is a Vender Brakemotive I think.

unless your just using "cheap" metallic pads, the pads themselves can have heat cracks in them causing a harmonic squeal. if you mic your rotors and they are thick enough you can have them turned and upgrade to a ceramic brake pad, they dissipate heat better and are quiet.

Thanks a lot I will check my rotors, and see about upgrading, these pads through off a lot of dust any way.

Run ceramic's. They don't "bite" quite as hard as semi-metallics, but they are quiet and leave very little dust.

Also make sure whatever pads you get have the edges angled down. This will cut down on dust collection and vibrations in the bad. Which will cut down on the noise
