Default brakes squeeking

Can brakes squeak like a bushing on a shock? I am not sure, but when I press the brake pedal the right front squeaks. Its not a grind, rub or metal on metal.

Could be. Do your brakes slow your car as they normally do? Jack up the front end and lift the front tires off the ground. They should both spin freely. If they don't it's time to start looking into caliper rebuilding, brake lines, fluid, etc.
You should be able to step on the brakes, then spin the wheel without much resistance.

Could just be some pads that are at the backing plates and worn out. If you're suspecting probs, i'd go take a peek at it sooner than later. This kinda stuff can take out your rotors and be a safety issue.

Then again, it could just be some grime and dirt that's causing some squealing. If that's the case, maybe chamfer the pads a little and do some cleaning?

The brakes are good and were installed about 6 months ago. I only drive it about 1000 miles/year so it doesnt get driven alot mostly for offroad purposes.

The squeak I am hearing is just like a bushing sounds when it makes a noise. I will try the suggestions given, but its almost like the bushing on the shocks are squeaking. I will have to check those too.
