Default brakes

Hi, sorry im sure there are posts on here for brakes but i had a few questions now that i have to replace my brakes...

first off which brake pads and shoes would you reccomend? probably gonna get them from oreilly's or advanced auto.

thought about getting a disc brake conversion for rear? Is it worth it, and found a set of SSBC brakes from 4wd hardware that come tihe pads and slotted rotors for better braking? any auggestions?

With stock caliber and drum, it really doesn't matter what you use. Don't by the cheapest they are crap, but you also don't need to buy the expensive pad and shoes as there will be no real benifit.
Converting to rear drums and upgrading the caliper and booster is a very good mod and well worth it.

If from Advance, go with the Everwear Gold series. Use them all the time at work, with good results. But, pads are only as good as the rotors they contact. Either replace your rotors, or take them to a shop to be machined on a lathe. Pad slapping is one of the most headache prone things you could do down the line.
