Default brakes...

I bought an '86 XJ Laredo a couple weeks ago and have started the tedious process of replacing all the rusted out parts. And I mean ALL of them. Everything under the truck is rusted. But the body is in great shape, so not a total loss.
My rear axle (D35) is in pretty rough shape. I'm currently trying to pull and replace the hard brake lines that run from the splitter on the axle to the 2 drums, and the fittings have completely seized up. I've hit them with penetrating oil 3 or 4 times and still can't get anything to give. Any suggestions?

I would go to the junkyard and pull new ones, well not new, if you can, other than that, check quadratec and auto parts to see what they have. I have used vise grips to get them apart, but generally damges the flare not.

Why not just replace the wheel cylinders too? They've probably never been replaced and could use it anyway. Besides, they're cheap.

OK. I hit the jy today and pulled the parts I needed.
Is there an easy way to remove the wheel hub so I can remove the brake backing plate? Or do I have to get into the diff and remove the whole axle shaft?
