I've been searching and haven't come up with anything definitive yet. A year ago I replaced my front brakes (rotors, pads & calipers). The front brakes were needing replacement and there was a shudder when braking at highway speeds. After changing them, no more vibes and the brakes were great. Now, the vibes have returned andf I'm not sure what direction to focus on.
Some other info that might be pertinent. Replaced the front hub assemblies about 45,000 miles ago with Mopar units. Had new tires installed (235's) and front end aligned back in January..
I would think it might be a warped rotor issue, but I don't feel any pulsing through the pedal. Before I start tearing into it, what might be the prime suspects?

Especially since you live in the rust belt, I'd focus on the rear drums. The self adjuster is worthless.
Pull the drums, inspect the shoes and adjust until the drum just goes back on.
When I replaced my front pads, simply adjusting the rear drums made a huge difference. Higher pedal and much smoother overall braking.
