Default brake proportioning valve ?????'s

Is the proportioning valve from the grand cherokee any differeny or better than that on a xj? I just picked up a dana 35 to swap the brakes off of and got the valve too just in case. But if it isn't any different I don't want to waste the time changing it.

Use the valve from the GC! Its alot better to use with a disk conversion!
But if you dont want to, you can also use the same valve thats already on your XJ.

Definatley use the gc. something different about rear disk brake p valves. dont remember what but think it has to do with keeping them from locking up maybe

Dont do the swap if you dont have rear discs..

The prop valve is set for proper brake bias with dual disc axles. You'll find one axle locking up before the other otherwise.

I have rear discs, just not installed yet. I am going to do discs, gears, and lockers all at once. I have the parts just not the time. You can check back on my build thread in my sig. for updates.

Thanks for the help everyone!
