do you have the hydro boost brake system?
GM's ran them and still do on certain heavy models.
full lock and loss of brake/steering means the pump is not creating enough pressure to work both systems, try increasing the engine rpm, in neutral, when this occurs. Can you steer?
hydro boost systems have a bypass valve for the brakes, they create so much presure that you would blow out your lines or seals in the brake system if you stood on the pedal.
does you vehicle stop with normal brake pedal pressure?
have you re-bleed the system?

i dont think this has the hydro boost, not for a light cherokee. the brakes work great, and after converting to the stainless braided lines, it about puts you through the windshield, but for some reason when you turn left, the pressure goes away, and i dont see any leaks anywhere, and i know for sure that the lines are completely bled out.

FOUND THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the driver side caliper i just bought is a different year than my pass side, which put the banjo bolt location in a different spot, what does that mean? my banjo bolt was hitting the knuckle about 1/16" before my steering stop bolt was, causing the caliper to tweak and do weird ****, what a boner deal, thanx for the help peeps.
