Brake problem
Ok my brake light is on in my Cherokee. Thought it would be the switch for the emergency brake but it wasn't. Checked my brake fluid it was a little low. Added more and the light is still on. I believe there might be a leak in the lines somewhere because when the vehicle is off the brake pedal builds pressure to a point but it doesn't stop. I can push it to the floor.

If you can push the pedal to the floor, you've either got a leak or a master cylinder problem. The light is telling you that because the front/rear bias valve in the master cylinder has shifted.
