I have a 95 jeep cherokee SE 4.0. The car has been sitting for 2yrs. I replaced all the brake lines, put new brakes,drums and wheel cylinders on the back. First time doing drum brakes and brake lines. All fitting are tight and no leaking fluid. I have bleed the rears but not the front. If you do a couple of quick pumps on the pedal it will hold pressure, but if you let off the pedal and wait a second and try to press the brake, it goes to the floor. What could be possible causes?

 

Having the rears properly adjusted has allot to do with the feel of the petal. If they aren't right you will have extra travel. Also you should bleed the fronts, then go from there. Good luck!
