If I did get grease on the rotors/pads, would it just wear away after time or would I have to clean them thoroughly?
Brake cleaner will fix up the rotors, pads would have to be changed. You can't get the grease back out once it's soaked in. Are the brakes pulling to one side?
That's sometimes an indication you have contamination on the opposite side.

couldn't he use a mineral spirit of some sort to remove the contaminant on the pad / rotar? An alcohol base so it will evaporate

Did you twist the brake hose putting the calipers back on?

They were pulling to one side at first very slightly and now they pull evenly.

Barely even matters now. :P something gave out in drive train. New thread on the way.
