Question Brake Pad 101, Ceramic or Metallic?

So I just got my new front brake pads for the Jeep and was curious. Are the brake pads Ceramic or Semi-Metallic? In looking at the pads, I could see strands of copper in the matrix, is that to be expected?

Here's what I ordered:
ACDelco 14D477C Advantage Front Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive ACDelco 14D477C Advantage Front Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive

Made in India BTW

I don't know. I think I would Google "Brake pads differences" And see what comes up.

Doing this search: "will ceramic Brake pads have copper"

Found this:
Ceramic brake pads are made from ceramic fibers, filler material, bonding agents and they may even have small amounts of copper fibers within them as well.
Seems I have my answer.
