Default Brake master cylander leak

I just replaced my brake master cylinder a few months back and now there is a leak coming from the top for it. I checked the gasket, it looks good Im going to replace the gasket to see if that's the problem. But it seems weird to me I have never seen this before. Could there be another cause besides just a bad gasket?

What do you mean with gasket on your BMC? I didnt come across any gasket when I installed mine...
And where is it leaking? The top!? You mean where the reservoir sits?
Picture would be great.

Did you overfill it? Is the cap loose? I had a loose fitting cap (new mc) and I added another piece of thin rubber to make it fit tight.
