Where were you when I needed you!? It would have been so handy.

No, home by now, thought to get a qick response from the forum, but realise now I should have called my thread "Need urgent advice. HELP!!!"
...strange, my parts catalog just mentions "'bolt' for ABS" (even under the header front Brake Lines 1997 with no ABS) ....I dont have ABS, and am certain its a torx....now I have to go out and measure myself...well, not now, when its light...

I saw the same thing in the parts catalogs.

It is a button head Torx bolt for sure.

I took one to the hardware and got some stainless steel ones for my Heep. I think they were 8MM.

Not a good idea. That signals that you have a CEL, don't know what the code is, but replaced your PCM and transmission anyway and have to pass inspection at the end of the month.

Ask A Question thread would be a good choice if you need something like that in the future.

LOL.... or any given minor issue that you can't be bothered about doing a search on, but want immediate attention and immediate resolution of the issue....over the internet.

I must admit when I couldn't remember the torx size, I thought about changing the PCM and transmission, but I panicked so swapped the engine with a 1.5 ltr Prius.

I was hoping that you guys would be out there at that moment....nil urgent life-threatening issue whatsoever....it would just have been handy really , that's all. The Question thread is suitable, but sometimes gets lost in the crowd...

Anyway, let's carry on.
