Default Brake lights won't turn off.

Since I changed my brake booster, I've had to pull my brake pedal up with my foot before accelerating and turning off my Jeep. It's a 91, 4.0 I6. Yesterday, I noticed that they wouldn't turn off at all. When I pull my brake pedal up, it makes a click and my brake lights normally turn off. It doesn't do that anymore. I hear that there's a way to adjust that, but I don't know how. All help is appreciated!

If it's as simple as a brake switch adjustment, it's easy.. The switch works off the brake pedal arm. The housing of the switch adjusts up/down.. brake pedal at rest, lights off, touch pedal slightly, light on. The switch also unlocks the torque converter and disables overdrive, if it's set on.
*I'm not really sure what you mean by "having to lift up the brake before accelerating and turning off your Jeep" tho..
