Default Brake drum issues!!!!!!!!!!!?????????

I have the dana 35 rear axle with 9" brake drums. I also have brand new brakes on my part rig, also dana 35 but has 10" drums. My question is can I put the 10" brake set up on the dana 35 with 9" brakes??? I would imagine if I switched the backing plates this would be possible??? Please help, truck is down till I figure this out. Thanks

Yes, you need to swap the Backing plates and drums. I think the internal hardware is the same.

The guy I got the rear end off of told me it was 3.55's but he lied its 3.07's. So I got a line on an 8.8 so I think I'm just gonna go that route. Thanks

How extensive of a job is it to cherrypick some disks off a Durango from a boneyard and put them on a 98 cherokee with a Dana 35?
Is there much fabrication?
What about the E-brake?
What year Durangos work for this swap?
I've heard of Caprice specials, impalas, and a few others, but not Durangos.

Thanks for the info in advance.
Billy
