Default Brake Caliper stuck

Left front brake caliper stuck on me today. Got so hot that it caught grease on fire. Needless to say new brakes are going on Saturday.

Anybody got any suggestions for rotors or pads?

I had one get sticky on me once.. it didnt get as hot as yours but it did warp the rotor. I'd suspect your probably is as well.

Check the local parts store for loaded calipers... these can be had pretty cheap. IIRC i paid $30 per.. caliper and pads. With two rotors i dropped about $150.

Just dont ask about slotted/drilled vs oem rotors, lol. You will have a ten page thread on your hands.

Also check your brake lines that is what caused me the same issues on my YJ. I change out the caliper and it did not fix the problem. The rubber hose detereated inside and clogged the line, ever time I hit the brakes it would add more pressure to the caliper but would not release the pressure.
