Default Brake caliper anchor support bracket removal?

How do I remove my front brake caliper anchor support bracket on my 94 Grand? I can see no other way than to take my upper and lower ball jnts off and the whole assembly. The book says nothing about this part.
Am I missing something?

That is part of the steering knuckle. Yes, you have to remove the ball joints, and the axle shaft nut to remove it. The hub bearing and brake shield are bolted to the steering knuckle with three bolts from the inboard side.
Hope this is helpful.
