Hey all, so i was looking at some wiring under my dash (what a mess) and i saw this box. It had a sticker on it that was about to fall off so i grabbed it and took a look. it says manual transmission ( i do have a 5 speed) electronic servo, then 4 cyl 6 cyl ans 8 cyl. can anyone tell me why its there and what it does searching for an hour has got me nothing at all.

sorry for the long question but just wanted to lay out the situation.

my vote is remote start, pretty sure all those options were on the one i installed years ago

 

I wondered about that, too, but wasn't sure about the "servo" part.

I Googled the part#. The only thing meaningful is on another forum where someone agreed it's a cruse control.......Idk.

 

there is an 'engage' light output up top. Cruise control.

dont know why i didn't think of this earlier but i ordered a build sheet a few months ago and i just thought to check it and see if it came with cruise control. well guess what no cruise on build sheet. thanks for the imput guys and it looks like it is for the cruise as i do have the components underhood.
