What are the pros and cons of doing this? I was thinking of just buying a stock throttle body from a slavage pick an pull and getting it bored out then replacing my current one with it? The place Im interning with has a gigantic machine shop so I could probably ask them, but will it adversley effect Its on road performance in relation to the off road performance?

 

You should be able to get it done for around $100. I gives you better acceleration and better throttle response. Also, you may notice an extra MPG or so. You could go to strokedjeep.com or ebay if you're getting one offline.
