My 95 ZJ is having some trouble. 5.2 L V8 AWD Automatic. When i load the engine up it bogs out on me. I try to accelerate and the rpms will not go above 3000, the rpms stay about steady but i get a light surging every second or so. Same thing happens when i hit a hill. I have to slowly let my foot off the accelerator to keep from loading the engine too much because it will bog out and i will slow down even faster. I pull over put it in neutral and floor it. The rpms will jump between 4.5 to 5.5. I think it might be the O2 sensor but i wanted your thoughts on the matter. Another unrelated problem is my 4WD sensor is telling me it is failing and during sharp turns it acts like the differential is locking. It is Full time 4x4.

 

Id be careful with the locking issue were I work a guy did 3 stock junkyard front ends on a 94 zj that was doing the same thing before he finally bought one that needed a motor and did a swap. His had no indication of issues until the axles locked up. Just puttin this out there since you have a way to fix the issue :/

 

Still have the problem with the bogging.
