Default bogging out

I will try to explain this the best I can. I have been having issues for about 2 months now. After driving in the heat, the jeep will bog out. 1 instance, driving for about an hour, 1/2, 5th gear cruising, once its time to slow down, down shift to 4th, its starts choking. while it is choking, i can smell fuel. I pump the gas, nothing, just bogs, i let off the gas it dies. once pulled over, coolant is bubbling out of the overflow. Let her sit for about 10 minutes and she is good. about another 1.5 hours same thing. This has happened twice in the last month driving from vegas to san diego.

The other problem is, i have idiot lights, and right now I dont think they work because I am not getting any warnings at all...

I have replaced fuel filter, that is all...

please help =/

Sounds like heat soak. Maybe a bad HG or something else that is failed in the cooling system.

I have never had the problem myself. But, from what I have read it does sound like heat soak. But Gee oh Dee said that.

Whats coolant temp gauge saying? Is it reading hot at all? May be as simple as a new rad cap and/or a good flush. Could be as bad as a cracked head/gasket... Oil and Copland mixing at all?

Edit: oil and coolant... Wtf did I type?
