Body Trim Warping

Got a 99 Cherokee Sport and the body trim was discolored and warping. So I pulled it off took off the double sided tape, prepaired the surface painted it, heated it and tried to get it back straight, but it still had some warpage

Reinstalled with commercial double sided tape and after a day the edges have pulled away

Was thinking about screwing the edges flat or getting some heavy duty glue and or both.

Any suggestions are welcome!

put something heavy on it (not heavy enough to crack it...) and shoot it with some heat

Thanks--Tried that when they were off---------layed them flat and heated them up with a heat gun while they had weights on them, left them that way for 3 days.

Looked OK and level when I took the weights off, but afterwards they started up again and warped at the ends. They definately have "memory".
