Default Body mouldings take off

I took the flares off my 91.. i must say it looks so much better without them. The passanger side was missing that plastic moulding on the door on the bottom.. so i ripped of the moulding all the way around.
Some nasty glue was left behind. Whats the best solution to get rid of the glue so i can paint it black..?

Thanks
Mark

Goo Gone. PBBlaster, WD-40, any of those will do the trick. Just make sure you clean it thoroughly and use a degreaser/paint prep product before repainting.

I found some stuff at Home Depot called goof off and it works far better then any of the above listed. Goo Gone sucks and did not work well at all.
