Default Blown radio fuse

So i blew a fuse yesterday to my radio and im not to sure where to look. My friend says theres a fuse box on the passenger side but i dont recall ever seeing one there. Any help would be appreciatedoh and another question, im running 2 sony explodes on a 800 watt amp and just within the past two days i took out the *****90 amp alternator the jeeps have and installed a 117a dodge dakota one, could that be the reason the fuse blew or is it just a coincidence..thanks again

my fuse panel is up under the dash on the left side of the steering column, its a 90. good question about the alt swap being coincidence. i don't know. was the new alt a bolt in or were there mods made to fit. if so what mods are needed. may be something worth looking into so long as i don't start popping fuses too.

The alternator and the fuse popping are not related.

Only thing I could think of is a bad ground or short in the head unit wiring.
