As another poster suggested getting an oil analysis is useful. Especially with the 0331 head I recommend occasional oil analysis as it can identify small amounts of coolant in oil well before a major problem is apparent and significant damage has been done. That was my situation on my 2000 XJ.- I had a small coolant leak into the oil due to a head issue but there were no other symptoms.
