My novice engine skills may be showing off but I have coolant in my head...never run hot and never smoke...here is what I seen when replacing my oil... May not see it in the pic but there looks to be coolant there

Are you sure it's not just the oil your seeing, maybe you used some synthetic that resembles coolant? When oil and water mix in your engine it turns to a milkshake lookin mess, at least with regular non synthetic oil, I'm not shure about what synthetic does.

Checkout the color of oil you used from a new bottle and see what it looks like.

if there were that much antifreeze in the engine mixed with the oil, it would look more like a milk shake.
once mixed together, it won't separate...well maybe if it sat for a very, very long time.
look at the oil cap, if it looks normal you're a-ok.

Well like somebody else said you would have a very and i stress the word very substantial amount of coolant in your engine for it to pool up in the rocker like that. For that much coolant to be in the head you would probably have little or none in the cooling system. I looks like oil to me, if it runs fine and doesnt get hot i wouldnt be worried about it.

No it doesn't always look like a milk shake guy's. My oil was more like milk chocalate you really couldn't tell anything was wrong with the oil if I would've been a newbie like some of the post here show ,I was lucky because I could just tell it wasn't right and the fact I always use a 12qt bucket to drain oil and I had 10 qts of oil in it so guy's just don't assume it always gonna be like what you heard from your friends and think it's god's word.To the OP if you have that much coolant in there it's time for a tear down to find the problem then go from there. good luck

Looks like oil to me also. Trust me Ive blown a headgasket on my old YJ and it was a milkshake. Well chocolate milkshake. It would look really cloudy and milky with some residue if it was a blown headgasket. I think what your seeing is the yellowish oil with the light and metal reflection. It appears to be green but is just a light effect.
