Question Blower Resistor Kick Plate, Orientation?

Just replaced the blower resistor and it works at all 4-speeds.

However, I'm baffled on the Orientation of the plastic Kick Plate which I removed 2-years ago. I've tried all 4 possible positions and it doesn't seem to fit in any of the four.

Can anyone point me to a photo or parts explosion which correctly shows the correct orientation?

Help me understand.

You removed the kick plate two years ago and you are just now replacing the blower resistor...

I pulled my cover, replaced the blower resistor, then replaced the cover. It didn't take the Jet Propulsion Lab to help me.

WOW! It took you that long to change it out? It took me only about 15mins and that is with a bad back.
BTW, It should only fit in one way. You need to get yourself in a weird position to get a good look to see how it fits back on.
Good Luck

MtnHermit,

I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but if you haven't here's an image of the installed cover (view looking forward):

Thanks CCKen,

I spent about 30-min before my post then put everything away. I'll use your illustration next time I'm motivated to get all twisted up to stick my head under the dash.

The kick panel is more cosmetic than functional so if it takes weeks, no big deal.

Many thanks
