Ok sounds strange but when I accelerate my heater goes from vent to some what defroster. It also does it when its on heat/feet vents. Not sure what can cause this. It only does it in drive not in park. Any info on what I can do?

There is a vacuum canister in the passenger side bumper (behind bumper) that may have gone bad or the vacuum line disconnected...Tj

Sound to me like a vacuum motor issue. When you accelerate the vacuum goes down and that could cause the symptoms you describe. I'd look for a cracked hose, partially disconnected hose or some other similar aliment.

That canister that I described in my other post is what stores the vacuum that determines what vent the air comes out...Tj
