Blowby/PVC clogged?
So I'm getting a little blowby (small amount of smoke in valve cover) my timing is spot on, so I'm thinking the PVC is clOgged? Or CCV or PCV whatever. The little port on the top of the valve case. Anyone else have this problem?

This is a great write up and has all necessary part numbers listed in it as well. A clogged CCV system could definitely cause your symptoms.

Thanks man! It's stumping me so hard. And I can't get the thing off my cover to see if it's clogged.

No problem! There is a good method on that write up for getting the elbows out of the grommets. I'd try and do that. But be veryyyyyyyy careful because from everything I have read, they break extremely easily
This doesn't say anything about causing blowby though? This will cause blowby correct?

He only replaced them because they were leaking oil at the grommets. And decided to replace the elbows and lines while he was already doing the grommets just for reassurance. You will need to do this replacement for a different reason (and yes, blowby can be cause by a clogged CCV system.). So using the methods in the write up, remove the elbows and go ahead and check them to see if they are in fact clogged.

Haha I know exactly what you're talking about. As far as clogged CCV causing rough idle, I would assume that it would contribute to it. But I don't have personal experience with that so I can't tell you for sure. Cracked header will definitely cause it though, ask me how I know! Haha
