The blinkers on my 88' xj are not working, so far I have checked the fuse, relay, bulbs, and replaced the wiring harness with one from another xj. The bulb sockets on mine were rusted up and there were splices in the wires. What else should i check?

 

Anybody got any suggestions?

 

any chance youre switch within the steering collum has taken a crap?

 

Maybe is there anyway to check it? The blinkers were working fine then they only worked every now and then and now i have nothing. My hazard lights still work.

 

the selector switch may be at fault here... best way to figure something like this out with you be... take a grain of salt with this... check wiring with a multi-meter... start out at your bulbs and work backwards... see if you are getting power to them when you select them.
