My 87 Wagoneer's blinker relay is toasted. My left signal flashes (slowly) but doesn't cancel after the turn is complete, and my right blinker cancels after turning, however it does not flash at all. Just wondering where is the relay located and is that all that needs to be replaced to fix this?

 

The relay is in the fuse box under the dash on the bottom,and the cancelation device is in the sterring colum. Two different things,the relay is simple and the cancelation switch,requires pulling your colum apart.
The picture does not show the actual cancelation switch,sorry I thought it was on there,but it slides over the steerinf shaft,the picture shows the blinker assembly.

 

The blinker assembly looks kinda complicated. I'm looking into buying a 1990 Cherokee Laredo for parts that my buddy has for $150 so hopefully the switches and relay will be good still on that one and i'll just swap er. thanks for the help

 

They are not to bad,but my problem is the colum is loose and instead of pulling it apart again,I am just going to replace the colum,only $50,it is worth it to save time.

 

yea maybe I will just swap my whole column out for the other one if it's still good. Sounds easy enough
