My drivers side blinkers work fine, but when I turn on the passenger side blinkers both the front and rear blinkers light up but stay solid and do not blink. I have replaced the bulbs in the front and rear. When I turn the hazards on both drivers and passengers side blinkers blink, so it is not a problem with the fuse. Any suggestions?

It is an 89 XJ Laredo
Has a 4.0L engine

 

What year? Amazingly enough, they are not all the same.

Have you swapped out the flasher module assuming that your model is one of the ones with separate units for hazard and turn signals (older XJs).
