I got my a/c compressor replaced (accumulator, orfice tube too) exactly one year ago. The a/c was blowing warm. A shop told me it's my evaporator had a leak too. Suposedly pretty common on jeep/dodges. I just got the evaporator replaced by a different shop (iced cold air). The a/c lasted for one day, at $650 out the door for the evaporator repair. Fun......

The a/c is blowing warm again, so i brought it back to the shop that did the eveaporator. They tested it, the air compressor wouldn't come on. he said they hooked it up on their machine and they said the compressor is working now, and it's cold, so there is something that is working intermittently.

The blower motor blow fine on all four settings, the a/c does not work on any of the settings.

I was wondering if the blend door is cracked and slipping, and maybe the a/c and heat area are being mixed incorrectly, causing the "heat" to come out the vents? Maybe that would give the sensation of it not working, when in fact it is, but the cold air is being mixed with engine heat?
